Students to raise funds for Honor Flights


The Waite High School student government Tuesday will put on a fund-raiser dinner to benefit Honor Flight Northwest Ohio, which flies local war veterans to Washington to see their respective war memorials.

The spaghetti dinner will be from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Waite Career Center cafeteria, 301 Morrison Dr.

Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for those over 60 years and for children, 8 years of age or younger. Parking will be available at the career center parking lot off Morrison Drive at Second Street.

For tickets or to place carryout orders, call the school cashier at 419-671-7000, ext. 2007. Orders must be received by 10 a.m. Tuesday.
