A federal grant will fund Toledo police overtime for extra traffic enforcement efforts.
The grant, of $73,948.11, is federal funding from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration distributed by the Ohio Criminal Justice Services Ohio Traffic Safety Office.
Police said the enforcement will be citywide, but will focus on areas with higher numbers of serious and fatal crashes.
