Police search for robbery suspects in 2 separate incidents

Toledo police are looking for suspects in two separate robberies this weekend.

A man who robbed a West Toledo convenience store on Sunday night got away with $150 in rolled-up coins.

Police report that a man went into In & Out Mart, 4721 Lewis Ave., at 11:02 p.m. Sunday, pointed a gun at a clerk, and demanded all the money in the store.

The clerk told the man she had no money; he demanded she open the safe.

The robber took the rolls of coins and fled northbound on Lewis, according to a police report.

The suspect is described as 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds. He has blue eyes, according to a police report.

The suspect was wearing a black Carhartt hooded jacket, black gloves, and a black face mask. Because of the gloves and mask, the clerk could not determine the suspect's race or approximate race.

On Friday, at 7:38 p.m., Wireless Boys, a cell phone store, was robbed by an armed man.

A store employee told police that the man went into the store at 528 S. Reynolds Rd. and pointed a black gun with a wooden handle at the employee and demanded cash, according to an incident report.

The suspect fled with an undetermined amount of cash.

One of the department's police dogs was not able to track the suspect, police said

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 419-255-1111.
