Police seek tips in robbery of Point Place bank branch

Authorities were looking for a man they say robbed a Charter One Bank branch Thursday in Point Place.

Toledo police said a man entered the bank, 5150 N. Summit St., about 3:10 p.m. and demanded money from tellers, then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. The man fled in a small red vehicle.

The man is described as white, in his late 20s, about 6 feet, 3 inches tall, and 170 pounds, with blue eyes and a mustache.

He was wearing black hooded coveralls, a dark scarf, and two-toned gloves.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Crime Stopper program.
