A Toledo man accused of shooting another in May was arraigned today.
Marlon Henderson, 34, of 413 Elmdale Court, is charged with one count of felonious assault. He was ordered to remain in the Lucas County jail in lieu of $200,000 bond for the May 3 shooting of Phillip Copeland, Jr., 23, of Toledo.
Police allege that the suspect shot the victim twice in his chest while the victim was trying to intervene in a breaking and entering in the 400 block of Elmdale.
The suspect is scheduled for a June 18 preliminary hearing.
