State Rep. Teresa Fedor (D., Toledo) is hosting a town hall meeting to discuss pending legislation in the Ohio House of Representatives to provide universal health care.
The bill, Ohio Health Security Act HB 440, was introduced in the House last year and was referred to committee discussion in January. Ms. Fedor was one of the bill’s sponsors.
Ms. Fedor will host the event with Dr. Johnathon Ross, a physician and instructor at Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center.
The town hall will be at 6 p.m. Monday at the Frederick Douglass Community Center, 1001 Indiana Ave.
