BROOKLYN, Mich. — Michigan International Speedway announced Tuesday the dates for its two NASCAR Sprint Cup races for the 2015 season.
The two-mile superspeedway will host the Quicken Loans 400 on June 14 and its second race on Aug. 16. The second race was previously known as the Pure Michigan 400, but an MIS spokesman said race will have a new name and title sponsor.
MIS will host an ARCA Racing Series race June 12 and a NASCAR Nationwide Series race June 13, then will host the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Careers for Veterans 200 on Aug. 14.
The speedway also has two non-NASCAR events scheduled: the Michigan Wine and Beer Fest on May 9, and the Faster Horses country music festival July 17-19.
