Farmers feeling peachy as summer fruit makes a comeback
Representatives from the Toledo Farmers’ Market say that local peaches — those juicy little bursts of sugar and sunshine — are starting to make their way back from the disaster. Early varieties are just coming in, while others will extend the season by ripening in a few weeks. Today we’re offering ways, both sweet and savory, to make those peaches we’ve been longing for — that we’re happy to welcome back even in limited supply — shine more brightly.
