BGSU hockey squad defeats Robert Mor­ris 3-2

PITTSBURGH — The Bowl­ing Green State Univer­sity team skated away with third place after a 3-2 vic­tory over Robert Mor­ris in the Three Rivers Clas­sic at the Con­sol Energy Center on Satur­day.

The Fal­cons (9-9-4) got goals from Brett Mohler, Bryce Wil­liam­son, and Kevin De­four to build a 3-0 lead in the third pe­riod be­fore the Co­lo­nials (2-12-2) scored an even-strength goal with 6:25 re­main­ing. They tacked on a score af­ter pull­ing their goal­ten­der to make it a one-goal game with 24 sec­onds re­main­ing.

Bowl­ing Green’s To­mas Sholl made 19 saves in net as the Fal­cons out­shot Robert Mor­ris 35-21.
