Mugshots nuisance hearing delayed
On the day a local bar owner was slated to learn whether his bar was to be shut down and labeled a city nuisance, two men charged with a Feb. 6 shooting at the establishment were arraigned on assault charges.
Brothers Rhaymoun Villolovos, 20, and Richard Villolovos, 22, both of 3460 Rock Ct., each pleaded not guilty in Lucas County Common Pleas Court to five counts each of felonious assault with a gun specification. Judge Linda Jennings set a March 26 trial date.
The men are charged in the shooting outside Mugshots on North Summit Street that left six people injured.
In Toledo Municipal Court Wednesday, Judge C. Allen McConnell rescheduled a Wednesday hearing to determine whether Mugshots would be permanently shuttered.
The judge had previously issued a temporary restraining order at the request of the city that temporarily shut down the establishment after the shooting incident.
Judge McConnell said Wednesday that the temporary restraining order remains in effect until the newly scheduled hearing on March 21.
