Pair indicted in school safecracking

A Lucas County grand jury on Thursday indicted two men on charges they broke into St. Francis de Sales High School and cracked a kitchen safe.

Robert Myrice II, 41, of 1957 W. Alexis Rd. and Aaron Eschmann, 45, of 5728 Rudyard Rd., Sylvania, each were indicted for burglary and safecracking in connection with the Dec. 21 incident at the high school on West Bancroft Street.

According to police, intruders cut the lock on a hallway gate inside the school, entered the kitchen, forced entry into the safe, and stole more than $1,000. The school was open for a baseball clinic at the time.
