Dinner Tonight: Simple Grilled Salmon

This recipe comes from The Heritage Salmon Company in Eastport, Maine, and was served at the Eastport Salmon Festival.

Simple Grilled Salmon

From Cook-Off America: Prize-Winning Recipes from the Public Television Series, published by Marjorie Poore Productions.

  • 1 tablespoon reduced-calorie mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon-style mustard
  • 1 pound fresh salmon fillets or steaks

Preheat the grill. In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise and the mustard. Brush the salmon fillets with the mixture.

Place the fillets skin-side down on the grill. Cook for 10 to 12 minutes, until the fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.

Serves 2.
