Lucas County Dogs for Adoption: 9-12

Dogs remain available at the Lucas County Dog Warden’s Office, 410 South Erie St., Toledo. For information, call 419-213-2800.

For a complete list of available dogs, go to lucascountydogs.petfinder.com. A $50 adoption fee includes spay-neuter, a heartworm check, microchip ID, vaccinations, and a behavioral evaluation.

The Lucas County Dog Warden’s Office is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday.

American bulldog, orange, brown, and white male, unlicensed, dog aggression, Leybourn Avenue, Toledo.

"Pit bull," red and white male, unlicensed, failed behavior evaluation/food guarder, Nevada Street, Toledo.

Terrier and shepherd mix, black and brown female, unlicensed, stray, failed behavior evaluation/food guarder, East Streicher Street, Toledo.

Basset hound and Labrador mix, black and white female, unlicensed, stray, failed behavior evaluation/food guarder, Midwest Avenue, Toledo.

Boxer mix, orange and white male, unlicensed, stray, failed behavior evaluation/food guarder, Berry Street, Toledo.

Golden retriever, tan female, unlicensed, stray, veterinarian recommended euthanasia because of poor quality of life (unable to use hind end, covered in urine, growths on skin), Providence Street, Whitehouse.

Shepherd mix, brown and orange male, licensed, owner requested euthanasia because of old age, surrendered by Sandra Ortiz, Berdan Avenue, Toledo.

Shepherd, black, orange, and brindle male, unlicensed, dog aggression, Pine View Drive, Sylvania.
