Lucas County Dogs for Adoption: 9-13

Dogs remain available at the Lucas County Dog Warden’s Office, 410 South Erie St., Toledo. For information, call 419-213-2800.

For a complete list of available dogs, go to lucascountydogs.petfinder.com. A $50 adoption fee includes spay-neuter, a heartworm check, microchip ID, vaccinations, and a behavioral evaluation.

The Lucas County Dog Warden’s Office is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Shepherd/Labrador mix, black and tan male, licensed, owner requested euthanasia because of age and illness/dog cannot walk, surrendered by Vonzell Powell, Vance Street, Toledo.

Chow/shar pei mix, black male, unlicensed, owner requested euthanasia because of age and illness/dog not eating, bad hips, surrendered by Albert Gutierrez, Washington Street, Toledo.

Dachshund, red male, unlicensed stray, failed behavior evaluation/food and resource guarder, Oak Street, Toledo.

Shepherd mix, black and orange male, unlicensed stray, fearful/unsafe, Dover Place, Toledo.

Terrier, tan and white male, unlicensed, failed behavior evaluation/body handling, surrendered by Brenda Leach, East Manhattan Boulevard, Toledo.

"Pit bull," orange and white male, unlicensed, aggressive/unsafe, North Detroit Avenue, Toledo, running at large.
