Lucas County Dogs for Adoption: 10-4

Dogs remain available at the Lucas County Dog Warden’s Office, 410 South Erie St., Toledo. For information, call 419-213-2800.

For a complete list of available dogs, go to lucascountydogs.petfinder.com. A $50 adoption fee includes spay-neuter, a heartworm check, microchip ID, vaccinations, and a behavioral evaluation.

The Lucas County Dog Warden’s Office is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Dogs killed

Dogs killed Sept. 27-29 by Lucas County Dog Warden Julie Lyle:

American bulldog mix, white and black male, unlicensed, dog aggression, Clark Street, Toledo.

Dachshund mix, black and orange female, unlicensed, aggressive/unsafe, Western Avenue, Toledo.

Lhasa Apso, tan and white male, unlicensed, failed behavior evaluation/food guarder, North Erie Street, Toledo, running at large.

“Pit bull” mix, tan and white female, unlicensed, failed behavior evaluation/food guarder, Bricker Avenue, Toledo.

“Pit bull,” gray and white male, unlicensed, dog aggression, Lagrange Street, Toledo.

Samoyed, white male, unlicensed, owner requested euthanasia (dog was aggressive), surrendered by Ronald Leslie, Orchard Trail Drive, Toledo.

Miniature pinscher, black and gray male, unlicensed, owner requested euthanasia (dog was old and sick), surrendered by Marcia Rosenburg, Barcelona Drive, Toledo.

Shepherd mix, orange and white female, unlicensed, failed behavior evaluation/food guarder, Glenwood Avenue, Toledo.

Cocker spaniel mix, black female, licensed, bite history, surrendered by Marcia Zeman, Kingsbury Avenue, Toledo.

Pug mix, black and white male, unlicensed, stray, veterinarian recommended euthanasia because of poor quality of life (dog had perianal tumor), North Berkey-Southern Road, Berkey.
