Lucas County Dogs for Adoption: 11-22

Dogs remain available at the Lucas County Dog Warden’s Office, 410 South Erie St., Toledo. For information, call 419-213-2800.

For a complete list of available dogs, go to lucascountydogs.petfinder.com. A $50 adoption fee includes spay-neuter, a heartworm check, microchip ID, vaccinations, and a behavioral evaluation.

The Lucas County Dog Warden’s Office is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Dogs killed

“Pit bull” mix, black male, unlicensed, aggressive/unsafe, surrendered by Henry Sutter, Burnham Avenue, Toledo.

Rottweiler/chow mix, orange male, unlicensed, failed behavior evaluation/food guarder, surrendered by Ashley Nubaum, Tremainsville Road, Toledo.

Terrier/poodle mix, tan and white male, unlicensed, failed behavior evaluation/body handling, Atlantic Avenue, Toledo.

Shar pei mix, orange and tan male, unlicensed, failed behavior evaluation/food guarder, Avondale Avenue, Toledo.

“Pit bull,” white and black male, unlicensed, failed behaivor evaluation/food guarder, Cadillac Court, Toledo, running at large.

“Pit bull,” gray and white female, unlicensed, veterinarian recommended euthanasia because of poor quality of life (dog had gunshot wounds, shattered right side jaw), Fourth Street, Toledo, running at large.

“Pit bull”/Labrador mix, black and whtie male, unlicensed, stray, veterinarian recommended euthanasia because of poor quality of life (dog had possible parvo, vomiting and diarrhea, difficulty breathing), Locust Street, Toledo.

Dog transferred

Dog transferred Nov. 16 to Rottie Empire Rescue by Lucas County Dog Warden Julie Lyle:

Rottweiler, black and orange male, Danberry Street, Toledo.
