Lucas County Dogs for Adoption: 11-29

Dogs remain available at the Lucas County Dog Warden’s Office, 410 South Erie St., Toledo. For information, call 419-213-2800.

For a complete list of available dogs, go to lucascountydogs.petfinder.com. A $50 adoption fee includes spay-neuter, a heartworm check, microchip ID, vaccinations, and a behavioral evaluation.

The Lucas County Dog Warden’s Office is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Dogs killed

Dogs killed Nov. 19, 21, and 25 by Lucas County Dog Warden Julie Lyle:

Breed and description; location seized; charge, if any:

Dachshund, red and black male, unlicensed, owner requested euthanasia because dog was old and had seizures, surrendered by Maxine Crye, Burger Street, Toledo.

Labrador mix, black and white female, unlicensed, owner requested euthanasia because dog was old and had difficulty walking, surrendered by Mary McDonald, Crestwood Road, Toledo.

“Pit bull” mix, brown and white male, unlicensed, died at emergency clinic (dog was shot by Toledo Police Dept.), E Street, Toledo, running at large.

Terrier mix, black and white female, unlicensed, euthanized at emergency clinic (dog was hit by car/broken pelvis), Vance Street, Toledo, running at large.
