Dogs remain available at the Lucas County Dog Warden’s Office, 410 South Erie St., Toledo. For information, call 419-213-2800.

For a complete list of available dogs, go to lucascountydogs.petfinder.com. A $50 adoption fee includes spay-neuter, a heartworm check, microchip ID, vaccinations, and a behavioral evaluation.

The Lucas County Dog Warden’s Office is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday.

“Pit bull,” brown and white male, unlicensed, veterinarian recommended euthanasia/quality of life (severe injuries including broken back, maggot-infested puncture wounds on sides and legs), West Park Street, Toledo, running at large.

Chow Chow, orange female, licensed, owner requested euthanasia (age-related health problems), surrendered by Darlene Troutman, Lewis Avenue, Toledo.

Shetland sheepdog mix, tan male, unlicensed, veterinarian recommended euthanasia/quality of life (non-responsive immune disorder), surrendered by Leonardo Rodriquez, Oak Bend Avenue, Holland.

Labrador retriever, gold and white male, licensed, owner requested euthanasia (throat cancer), surrendered by Daryl Richardson, Marshall Avenue, Sylvania.

Shih Tzu, white male, unlicensed, owner requested euthanasia (age-related health problems), surrendered by Cecil Bowden, Greystone Parkway, Toledo.
