Lucas County Dogs for Adoption: 2-11

Dogs remain available at the Lucas County Canine Care & Control Office, 410 South Erie St., Toledo. For information, call 419-213-2800.

For a complete list of available dogs, go to lucascountydogs.petfinder.com. A $100 adoption fee includes spay-neuter, a heartworm check, microchip ID, vaccinations, and a behavioral evaluation.

Dogs killed Feb. 7 and 9 under the direction of Lucas County Canine Care & Control Director Julie Lyle:

“Pit bull” mix, white and black male, unlicensed, aggressive/​unsafe, Fitchland Avenue, Toledo, stray.

“Pit bull,” red and white male, unlicensed, dog aggression, Bowman Street, Toledo, running at large.

“Pit bull” mix, brindle and white male, unlicensed, dog aggression, County Road 4, Swanton, stray.

“Pit bull,” orange and white female, unlicensed, aggressive/​unsafe, Langdon Street, Toledo, running at large.

“Pit bull” mix, blue and white female, unlicensed, failed behavior evaluation/​food guarder, Michigan Street, Toledo, stray.

Dogs transferred

Dogs transferred Feb. 9 to the Toledo Area Humane Society under the direction of Lucas County Canine Care & Control Director Julie Lyle:

Litter of five boxer/​German shepherd mix puppies, three black and white females, one brindle and white female, one brindle female, surrendered by Stanley Edwards, Pinewood Avenue, Toledo.
