Lucas County Dogs for Adoption: 2-15

Dogs remain available at the Lucas County Canine Care & Control office, 410 South Erie St., Toledo. For information, call 419-213-2800.

For a complete list of available dogs, go to lucascountydogs.petfinder.com. A $100 adoption fee includes spay-neuter, a heartworm check, microchip ID, vaccinations, and a behavioral evaluation.

Dogs killed

Dogs killed Feb. 12-13 under the direction of Lucas County Canine Care & Control Director Julie Lyle:

Breed and description; location seized; charge (if applicable):

Boxer, brindle female, unlicensed, owner requested euthanasia (underweight, unable to stand), surrendered by Maria Cuellar, Yates Street, Toledo.

“Pit bull,” orange and white female, unlicensed, aggressive/​unsafe, Williamsdale Drive, Toledo, running at large.

“Pit bull,” black and white male, unlicensed, failed behavior evaluation/​body handling, South Erie Street, Toledo, running at large.

Dogs transferred

Dogs transferred Feb. 13 to the Lucas County Pit Crew and Planned Pethood under the direction of Lucas County Canine Care & Control Director Julie Lyle:

“Pit bull,” brown and white female, surrendered by Jacob Sanford, Village Drive, Toledo.

Miniature pinscher, black and orange female, surrendered by Fannie Watson, Hayden Street, Toledo.
