Dogs remain available at the Lucas County Canine Care & Control Office, 410 South Erie St., Toledo. For information, call 419-213-2800.

For a complete list of available dogs, go to lucascountydogs.petfinder.com. A $100 adoption fee includes spay-neuter, a heartworm check, microchip ID, vaccinations, and a behavioral evaluation.

Dogs killed June 5-7 under the direction of Lucas County Canine Care & Control Director Julie Lyle:

Breed and description; location seized; charge (if applicable). Dogs killed for poor behavior are scored on a scale up to 5, with higher scores being more aggressive:

“Pit bull,” black and white male, unlicensed, failed behavior evaluation/body handling (scored 3/5 on June 4), Seaman Road, Oregon, stray picked up by a control officer.

Shetland sheepdog mix, red and sable female, unlicensed, owner requested euthanasia (bite history), surrendered by Rebecca Wilson, Orono Drive, Toledo.

American Eskimo dog, white male, unlicensed, owner requested euthanasia (elderly, very sick), surrendered by Jolonda Holmes, Lewis Avenue, Toledo.

Boxer, orange and white male, unlicensed, owner requested euthanasia (aggressive/unsafe), surrendered by Krista Hayward, Logan Lane, Perrysburg.

“Pit bull,” white and brindle male, unlicensed, failed behavior evaluation/food guarder (scored 5/5 on June 5), Broadway, Toledo, stray brought to the shelter.

Australian shepherd mix, black and tan male, unlicensed, bite history, surrendered by Diana Garcia, Second Street, Martin.

Shetland sheepdog, tan and white female, unlicensed, failed behavior evaluation/dog aggression (scored 4/4 on June 4), Albion Street, Toledo, stray picked up by a control officer.

Siberian husky/German shepherd mix, black and tan male, Woodville Road, Toledo, stray brought to the shelter.

Pomeranian, yellow and white male, Lewis Avenue, Toledo, stray brought to the shelter.
