Lucas County Dogs for Adoption: 7-23

BLADE STAFF

Dogs remain available at the Lucas County Canine Care & Control Office, 410 South Erie St., Toledo. For information, call 419-213-2800.

For a complete list of available dogs, go to lucascountydogs.petfinder.com. A $100 adoption fee includes spay-neuter, a heartworm check, microchip ID, vaccinations, and a behavioral evaluation.

Labrador retriever, black and gray male, Gibbons Street, Toledo, stray picked up by a control officer.

Dandie Dinmont terrier mix, white and gray male, Starr Avenue, Oregon, stray picked up by a control officer.

Smooth fox terrier mix, white and black male, West Alexis Road, Toledo, stray picked up by a control officer.

Alaskan husky mix, black and white female, Cypress Lane, Toledo, stray brought to the shelter.

Labrador retriever mix, black and white female, South Detroit Avenue, Toledo, stray picked up by a control officer.

Pomeranian mix, orange and white female, Indian Wood Circle, Maumee, stray picked up by a control officer.

“Pit bull,” brown and white female, Collingwood Boulevard, Toledo, stray picked up by a control officer.

Beagle, tan and white male, Birchall Road, Toledo, stray brought to the shelter.

Flat-coated retriever, black female, surrendered by Thomas Demaline, Airport Highway, Swanton.

Dogs transferred July 19-21 to LOYAL Rescue and the Toledo Area Humane Society under the direction of Lucas County Canine Care & Control Director Julie Lyle:

Toy poodle/​cocker spaniel mix, apricot male, surrendered by Sandra Donnell, West Bancroft Street, Toledo.

Litter of “pit bull” mix puppies, one brindle female, one black and white female, Ottawa Park, Toledo, strays brought to the shelter.

“Pit bull” mix, orange and white male, West Bancroft Street, Toledo, stray picked up by a control officer.

“Pit bull,” brown and white male, Erie Street, Toledo, stray picked up by a control officer.

Brittany mix, orange and white male, surrendered by Hunter Straub, Scribner Street, Maumee.

“Pit bull” mix, white female, Ottawa Drive, Toledo, stray brought to the shelter.

Labrador retriever, black and white male, unlicensed, failed behavior evaluation/​body handling (scored 5/​5 on July 16), surrendered by Mirna Tovar-Solis, East Pearl Street, Toledo.

“Pit bull,” tan and white male, unlicensed, bite history, surrendered by Raymond Wlodarski, Eleanor Avenue, Toledo.

Pomeranian, black female, unlicensed, veterinarian recommended euthanasia/​quality of life (elderly, blind, severe respiratory infection, fearful/​unsafe), Centennial Road, Sylvania, stray brought to the shelter.

Labrador retriever mix, black and white female, unlicensed, failed behavior evaluation/​body handling (scored 4/​4 on July 20), surrendered by Michael Cavanaugh, Boxwood Road, Toledo.
