Children and adults from the Owens Community College's Child Care Center had a series of apple-related adventures at Erie Orchards and Cider Mill in Erie, Mich. At right above, Izzy Klocinski opens wide for a taste. The Owens class had put apple-flavored Cheerios on a string, made apples of Play-Doh, painted pictures of apples, and baked some real ones.
