■ Several attorneys from Toledo-based Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick LLP have been selected as 2014 Ohio Super Lawyers and 2014 Ohio Rising Stars. The selections are made by the research team at Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters business, through a process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, independent research evaluation of candidates, and peer reviews by practice area. Those on the Super Lawyers list are David F. Axelrod, John C. Barron, Stephen A. Rothschild, Peter R. Silverman, and Louis E. Tosi. The Rising Stars are Cheri A. Budzynski, Nicholas D. Malone, Rebecca E. Shope, Gregory H. Wagner, and Mechelle Zarou.

■ The Danberry Co. Realtors has announced three management changes. Dan McQuillen has been promoted to manager of the firm’s Briarfield Blvd. location. Debbie Mohr Milnar has rejoined Danberry as vice president of operations. Lana Rife was named assistant manager of Danberry’s Oregon office.

■ Aric R. Bennett has been named vice president of Maumee-based Mannik Smith Group’s expanded Transportation Construction Services unit. He has been with the consulting and engineering firm since 2006.

■ Toledo-based Owens Corning announced that it received a perfect score of 100 percent on the 2014 Corporate Equality Index published by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation, which works to achieve lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender equality. This is the 10th consecutive year OC has achieved a perfect score. It was one of 303 national companies to do so this year.

■ William J. Small, chairman of First Federal Bank of the Midwest in Defiance, has been re-elected to the board of directors of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati, the second-largest bank headquartered in Ohio with $96 billion in assets.
