■ Megan Coyle Stamos of Coyle Funeral Home and Cremation Services received the Presidents Award from Physician’s Mutual and the Outlook Group at the Advanced Funding Solutions Leaders Conference. Ms. Stamos was selected for demonstrating commitment to families as well as characteristics of quality, integrity, and passion.

■ Theo Killion has been elected to the Libbey Inc. board of directors. He is chief executive officer of Zale Corp., a jewelry retailer. Also, William A. Foley and Deborah G. Miller were re-elected to the board. Toledo’s Libbey Inc. is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of glass tableware.

■ Two free, educational workshops on Social Security designed for individuals and couples 58 or older will be held this week in Perrysburg. ■ Matt Campbell, the University of Toledo’s head football coach, will be the guest speaker for EPIC Toledo’s Unplugged speaker series, from 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Unplugged is a quarterly speaker series that provides a forum for the Toledo Region’s young professionals to hear from prominent community leaders. The event is free and will be held in the Grogan Room at Savage Arena. Mr. Campbell will discuss his career and how he uses leadership skills in his job.
