Susan Kozal is a life-long learner. She holds a Master of Arts in Art History from Michigan State University, has attended the International Baccalaureate workshop for visual arts, has served as an AP Art History reader and teaches both IB Art as well as AP ArtHistory. She has the ability to reach students at every level including the Notre Dame Junior Academy students. She is a true artist who embraces the beauty of art as well as technology and art.
Susan has had students selected for many distinguished honors including, College Board AP Reader in Art History (2008, 2009, and 2010), Ohio Magazine 2010 Excellence in Education, and Ohio Art Education Association presenter. Her students have been selected for the Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan Focus show over the past several years.
"Susan fosters critical and divergent thinking skills appropriate for AP Art History and IB Art classes," said Kim Grilliot, principal. "She creates a positive classroom climate conducive to student learning."
