The Toledo Board of Education today voted to place a five-year, 6.5-mill renewal levy on the November ballot.
Four board members voted in favor of the Nov. 5 levy request, with member Larry Sykes abstaining.
The levy generates about $13 million a year for the district, and was approved by voters in 2008 with about 61 percent of the vote.
