Deborah Pitzen is a tremendous asset to the school because of her ability to connect with her students. She challenges them to do their best and she constantly reminds them of the importance of academics. Mrs. Pitzen is willing to give her time after school and during her planning to help students and take part in various school/district meetings. She is a vocal leader in the building and she has the respect of the teachers and the administration.
Mrs. Pitzen is a building and district leadership team member, and serves on the Labor-Management Committee. She is an active member of her church, All Saints in Rossford, and serves as vice-president of the teacher's union (RACT) and math department chairperson.
"Mrs. Pitzen is one of the most respected teachers in the building," said Tony Brashear, Principal," and she is willing to take on additional responsibilities in an effort to help students, the high school, and the district."
