TPS teacher accused of tripping a student

A seventh-grade teacher at Whittier Elementary School in West Toledo has been suspended with pay, pending the outcome of an internal investigation into a complaint that she allegedly tripped a student.

Cathleen Odoms was accused of tripping the seventh-grade boy on school property Friday, Patty Mazur, Toledo Public Schools spokesman, said Monday. The child’s name and other details were not released.

No injury was reported.
