FINDLAY — Marathon Petroleum Corp. has signed an agreement to buy a biodiesel facility in Cincinnati from a Malaysian company. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The plant produces biodiesel, glycerin, and other products with a capacity of 4,100 barrels per day.

“MPC has been a producer and large blender of ethanol for many years, and this acquisition will broaden our renewable fuels partnership with a quality asset,” said Mike Palmer, senior vice president of supply distribution and planning for MPC.
