About 100 students from 24 schools competed on Saturday, April 30, 2016, in the 13th annual Toledo Public Schools elementary chess tournament. Competitors in grades two through eight faced off in seven matches, divided by grade levels. While organized by Toledo Public Schools, students from area districts were allowed to compete.
