Waite girls top Woodward

Waite 46, Woodward 38

Ramiyah Henry scored 15 points Wednesday night to lead the Indians in a City League girls basketball game.

Yatiah Caldwell chipped in with 12 for Waite (7-9, 4-4 CL).

K’Shawna Barnett topped the Polar Bears (6-9, 4-4) with 11 points.

 

Rogers 86, Scott 29

The host Rams buried Scott with a 33-1 second quarter, and coasted behind 15 points from Akienreh Johnson and 14 from Marquelle Williams.

Keyanna Austin had 13 points and Sasha Dailey added 10 for Rogers (13-4, 8-0 CL).

The Bulldogs (5-9, 2-6) were led by Symone Palmer and Laquelle Jacobs, who had nine points apiece.

 

Start 64, Bowsher 17

The Spartans won at Bowsher as Marquasia Turner scored 12 points.

 

BOYS

Maumee Valley 60, Cardinal Stritch 43

Solomon Collins scored 20 points to lead the host Hawks.

Rashad Woodley tallied 11 and Thad Woodard 10 for Maumee Valley (9-3, 5-2 TRAC).

Austin Adams led the Cardinals (5-8, 4-4) with 23.

 

Sandusky St. Mary 76, Port Clinton 37

PORT CLINTON — The Panthers (11-3, 6-3 SBC) were led by 18 points from Melvin Jackson.

Port Clinton (5-9, 2-8) got 20 from Carter Rumball.
