Michigan: Boss, interceptions pace Bedford

TEMPERANCE - Mitchell Boss ran for two touchdowns and threw for two more as Bedford crushed Ypsilanti Lincoln 54-0 last night.

Boss scored on four and 34-yard runs for the Kicking Mules (3-3, 2-3 SEC) and threw an 85-yard touchdown pass to Chris Kerekes and a 12-yard TD pass to Tony Lopez.

Kerekes also returned an interception 43 yards for a touchdown and Tyler Gill returned another interception 55 yards for a touchdown.

Bedford amassed 319 yards, 185 through the air, while holding Lincoln to 92 total yards.

Summerfield 26, Adrian Madison 14

PETERSBURG - Tyler Gubbe scored on four and three-yard runs, then the Bulldogs put the win away with 12 fourth-quarter points.

Josh Winters scored from the 4 and Brandon Medlen from the 7 in the final quarter for Summerfield (2-4,1-2 Tri-County).

Tommy Wilder paced the Bulldogs with 79 yards on 18 carries. They rushed for 155 total and added 78 through the air.

Jose Rodriguez got Madison (0-4, 1-5) on the board in the first quarter on a 50-yard TD dash. Zachary Brewer also caught a 25-yard TD pass from Jacob Crison for the Trojans, who gained 250 yards, 187 on the ground.

Blissfield 35,

Erie Mason 26

BLISSFIELD, Mich. - Blissfield lost the yardage game to Erie Mason, but it made enough big plays to get the only win that mattered.

Blissfield sprinted out to a 35-12 lead, then withstood a late Eagles rally to get the win behind a punishing running game that churned out 290 yards.

Travis Dusseau had a big game for Erie Mason, rushing for 198 yards and three touchdowns on 28 carries.

Sand Creek 53, Whiteford 18

Jeremy Pickford was absolutely stellar, passing for more than 200 yards, rushing for 100, and having a hand in seven touchdowns.

Pickford was 9 of 18 for 221 yards and five TDs through the air. On the ground he had 103 yards on nine touches.

Sand Creek (6-0, 3-0) led 26-18 at halftime before exploding in the second half for 27 unanswered points.

George Flanner led Whiteford (4-2, 2-2) with 19 carries for 194 yards.
