BASKETBALL ROUNDUP: Martin leads Panthers over Jackets

Maumee 57, Perrysburg 45
Tyler Martin powered in 25 points as the host Panthers knocked off their rivals Friday night in Northern Lakes League boys basketball.

Shawn Flannigan added 16 for the Panthers. (12-8, 7-7 NLL)

Alec Schmenk scored a team-high 13 for the Yellow Jackets (13-7, 10-4) in the loss.


Anthony Wayne 53, Rossford 42
The visiting Generals (7-12, 4-10) were led by Mark Donnal's 19 points, while Jake Conklin contributed 10.

Anthony Wayne pulled away with a 16-8 fourth-quarter advantage.

The Bulldogs (3-17, 1-13) were paced by Mitchell Stewart and Larry Sloan added 10.


St. Francis 42, Toledo Christian 31
The Knights (5-15) won at home as Trent Morrissey and Danny Yodzis each scored 16 points.

St. Francis dominated the last two quarters by a 24-8 edge.

Nick Rightnowar topped Toledo Christian (13-7) with 16 points.


Ann Arbor Skyline 71, Bedford 68
TEMPERANCE — Jackson Lamb score a season-high 40 points but it wasn't enough for the Mules (6-11).

Ryan Rightnowar added 12 points for Bedford, which hit just 3 of 16 at the free-throw line.

The Eagles were led by Theron Wilson with 28, Sakhi Sambardary with 14 and Peter Bakker with 10.


Lake 65, Genoa 45
GENOA — The Flyers (12-8, 7-5) were led by Ra'Shad Smith with 17 points, Josh Tantari with 13 and Dylan Hirzel with 11.

Cole Welsh poured in 23, including seven 3-pointers, for the Comets (6-14, 1-11).


Tinora 54, Delta 44
DELTA — Robert Wuo led Tinora (14-6) with 17 points while Jake Mahnke added 16.

Delta (12-8) was led by Blake Green's 18 points while Josh Beverly tossed in 15.


Wauseon 25, Holgate 21
HOLGATE — Tre Henricks led the Indians (9-11) with eight points.

Ryan Aelker paced the Tigers (9-11) with eight.

Girls
Bedford 48, Ann Arbor Skyline 27
Ann Arbor —Taylor Foster scored 10 points for the Mules (14-6).

Kierra Jordan paced Skyline (0-20) with 10.
