3rd straight NLL title for Wildcats

Northview 49, Perrysburg 44

Miriam Justinger scored 15 points Saturday night as the visiting Wildcats won their third straight Northern Lakes League girls basketball championship.

Jessica Jessing tallied 12 and Maddie Cole added 10 for Northview (17-1, 12-0 NLL).

Kelsea Newman fired in 24 points for the host Yellow Jackets (14-4, 9-3). Becca Tudor added 10.

The Wildcats made 15 of 17 free throws to Perrysburg's 10 of 10.

The host Panthers had balanced scoring led by Joeal Olman with 14. Kayla Thomasson had 13, Liza Theaker added 12, and Julia Mauro 10.

Lexi Lopez tossed in 26 for the Cougars. Bailey Hejl added 12.

Bowsher 41, Marion Harding 39

MARION -- Daija Rayford made two free throws to seal the victory among her game-high 17 points. Asia Woodson had 15 for the Rebels (6-12).

The Presidents were led by Olivia Davis with 11 and Kura Hainston with 10.

Detroit Country Day 73, Waite 32

Diane Amker had 23 points for Country Day (14-1) on the road. The Indians (8-9) were led by Marquia Fitch with 11.

Bowling green 52, Springfield 36

Hayley Williford connected for 18 points and Jenna Stoner added 15 for the Bobcats.

Nat Yoder led the host Blue Devils with 12.

Northwood 49, Maumee Valley 22

The visiting Rangers were paced by Anna Raymond with 12 points and Becca Bisbee 10.

Genna Danes topped Maumee Valley with 11.

Toledo Christian 47, Danbury 35

Camille Gist with 11 and Melissa Green with 10 led Toledo Christian at home.

Kelsey Clemons led Danbury with 10.

Continental 48, Patrick Henry 46

HAMLER -- Leva Weiler led Continental with 13 points. Kelsey Tietje led the Patiots with 17.

Ottawa Hills 67, Emmanuel Christian 18

Nancy Rumpf led the Green Bears (15-1, 12-0 TAAC) with 21 points, Haley Jarecki had 13, and Caroline Arnos 12.

Lizzie Harrington and Cassidy Daniels had seven for the host Warriors (2-15, 0-11).

Anthony Wayne 46, Napoleon 25

Aisha Tyre scored 13 points and Aubrie Kreft 12 to help the Generals win at home.

Taylor Miller and Amber Willeman each had six points for Napoleon.

Cardinal Stritch 53, Gibsonburg 45

GIBSONBURG -- Abby Mass poured in 23 points and Caty Rieker added 15 for the Cardinals.

Lexi Busdeker scored 15 and Dani Fork 10 for the Golden Bears.

McComb 47, Lima CC 44

LIMA -- Briana Herr scored 14 points and Kristen Buck chipped in 11 for the Panthers (12-7).

Stacia Allen poured in 18 for the Thunderbirds (11-8).
