4th quarter dooms Rams in tourney

Cincinnati Winton Woods 55,Rogers 48

BERLIN, Ohio — The Rams led 39-38 after three quarters but were outscored 17-9 in the fourth quarter Monday in the Classic in the Country girls basketball tournament.

Akienreh Johnson scored 15 and ChaRon Sweeney and Marquelle Williams added 10 for Rogers.

Imani Partlow had 19 for the Warriors.

Swanton 48, Defiance 29

SWANTON — Swanton wins the battle of the Bulldogs led by Emily Callicotte and Bethann Lumbrezer, who both had 11 points.

Emily Spencer paced Defiance with 14.

Boys

Eastwood 86, Genoa 61

GENOA — The Eagles were led by Steven Bradley and Jake Schmeltz with 16.

Grant Peters added 13. Logan Bess and Tim Hoodlebrink each had 12.

Casey Gose led the Comets with 17. Luke Rightnowar added 15 and Grant Adams 11.
