ABOUT THE TEAM:

Coach: Doug Pearson, 12th year

Last season: 4-6, 4-3 TRAC

Returning letter winners: 16

Returning starters: Offense 3, defense 4

Schemes: Spread option/multiple front

Top players: Seniors Geno Demarco, 6-3, 250, OT-DE; Joe Pool, 6-0, 185, WR-DB; Sean Welling, 6-2, 265, OL-DL; Trevor Walsh, 6-4, 214, TE-DE; Collin Korte, 6-0, 195, RB-LB; Evan Yoder, 6-1, 220, OL-LB; Nolan Silberhorn, 6-4, 208, QB; Eddie O’Reilly, 5-10, 220, OL-DL. Junior Craig Mays, 6-3, 215, WR.

Outlook: The Titans look to rebound from a rare losing season, and Pearson is hoping good team chemistry will be a springboard in that process. Lack of depth in the secondary and on the offensive line are the chief concerns entering the season.

“We have to work on developing depth,” Pearson said. “We have some thin areas that we need to address quickly. Overall, the kids are working hard.”
