GIBSONBURG — The Raiders opened an early two-touchdown lead and remained and held off the Golden Bears in a scoreless second half.
Jordan Jaso opened the scoring with a 78-yard touchdown run in the first quarter and Lakota (2-0) took a 14-0 lead on Colin Timmons’ 48-yard TD pass to Jack Raymond.
Jaso finished with 178 rushing yards on 22 carries. Timmons completed 9 of 21 passes for 110 yards and the TD to Raymond, who had six catches for 97 yards.
Gibsonburg (1-1) cut into the lead on Matt Tille’s 49-yard touchdown pass to Brent Hayward. Hayward had 17 carries for 70 yards, while Derek Angelone pulled in five catches for 74 yards.
Ayersville 57, Ottawa Hills 0
Luke Lawson caught three touchdown passes and returned a punt for another score to lead visiting Ayersville.
Lawson finished with six catches for 60 yards. Quarterback D.J. Hagerman completed 13 of 21 passes for 149 yards and three scores, and he ran for another TD.
Jake Swafford led Ottawa Hills (0-2) with seven rushes for 37 yards. Jack Wollenburg added four catches for 49 yards.
