TEMPERANCE, Mich. -- Alec Hullibarger's one-yard touchdown run with 42 seconds left lifted the Bedford football team to a thrilling 36-29 second-round victory over visiting Saline tonight.
Trailing 22-8 late in the first half and 29-22 early in the fourth quarter, the Kicking Mules (11-0) had an answer each time.
Quarterback Brad Boss found Hullibarger for a tying five-yard touchdown pass with 4:05 remaining, and after Bedford stuffed Saline on fourth-and-1, the Kicking Mules drove 36 yards for the winning score.
