5 Rebels score in double figures

Bowsher boys slam Sundusky; Southview girls roll to win

Boys

Bowsher 101, Sandusky 70

SANDUSKY — The Rebels (4-1) placed five in double figures, headed by 27 points each from Cam White and Nate Allen in boys basketball action on Tuesday.

Jason Sandridge and Dajuan King each added 15 and Mark Washington 13. Washington also had 10 rebounds.

Michael Delk led Sandusky (1-3) with 20 points while Javier Palmer added 16.

Rossford 64, Woodmore 42

Derek Mack scored 19 points to lead Rossford to a home win in the Northern Buckeye Conference.

Sean Mullin tallied eight points to pace Woodmore.

Danbury 73, Bettsville 11

BETTSVILLE — Hunter Stinchcomb scored 13 points and Dominic Manuella and Jon Brooks added 12 points each as Danbury cruised.

Swanton 57, Edgerton 42

SWANTON — Bryce McComb poured in 32 points, including six 3-pointers, to lead Swanton.

Alex Michael paced Edgerton with 15 points, while Max Nihart and Duane Miller added 11 each.

Ottawa-Glandorf 62, Bryan 53

OTTAWA — Noah Bramlage poured in 26 points to lead Ottawa-Glandorf.

Tyler Zender added 15 points for the Titans.

Thomas Martin paced Bryan with 12 points, while Sean Culler and Kyle Rupp added 10 points each.

Maumee Valley 57, New Riegel 32

NEW RIEGEL — Thad Woodard scored 16 points and Truth Foreman added 15 as Maumee Valley improved to 5-1 on the season.

Tim Ink paced New Riegel (1-5) with 10 points.

Monclova Christian 58, Bowling Green Christian 38

Tim LaChance poured in 18 points as Monclova Christian won at home.

Andrew Jender chipped in with 15 points for the Thunder.

Ypsilanti Lincoln 53, Bedford 44

YPSILANTI, Mich. — The Railsplitters (3-0, 1-0) were led by Tyler Mabry with 11 points.

For the Mules (1-1, 1-0), Jeremy Harris had 18 points and 22 rebounds and Dylan Barr aided with 12 points.

Blissfield 69, Hudson 36

BLISSFIELD, Mich. — Connor Vandecaveye had 24 points and eight rebounds for the Royals (2-1).

Jake Kopka aided with 12 points.

Hudson (0-3) was paced by Cody nelson with 10.

Whiteford 59, Summerfield 53

PETERSBURG, Mich. — Colin Lake poured in 31 points as Whiteford held on for a road win.

Zach Perry added 13 points for the Bobcats (2-1).

Cody Reichow paced Summerfield (0-3) with 28 points.

 

Girls

Southview 79, Bowling Green 66

Sarah Klepzig did the inside damage with 26 points while Karyn Stanley helped from the outside with 20 — including three 3-pointers, as the Cougars built a 20-6 lead after the first quarter in girls basketball play on Tuesday.

Lauren Huntsman and Emily Westphal each added 12 for Southview (4-2, 4-1).

Bowling Green (3-4, 1-4) was led with 20 points from Tyanna Smith while Hannah Williford added 16.

Hailey Maas chipped in 11 in the loss.

Northview 65, Maumee 39

Northview jumped out to a 14-5 lead after one quarter and built up a 34-18 edge at halftime as the Wildcats (6-2, 4-2) used a balanced offensive attack to earn an NLL victory.

Kendall McCoy led Northview with 19 points, including three 3-pointers. Maddie Cole added 16 points and Kendall Jessing and Maddie Fries scored 10 points each.

Maumee was unable to gain ground in the second half as Northview outscored the Panthers 23-7 in the third quarter.

Evyn Kachenmeister led Maumee (0-7, 0-4) with 13 points.

Perrysburg 59, Springfield 46

Allex Brown scored 17, Abby Sattler 15, and Lindy Delong 13 for the Yellow Jackets.

Natalie Yoder led the Blue Devils with 17 and Sydney Powhida chipped in with 10.

Anthony Wayne 44, Napoleon 30

NAPOLEON — McKenzie Krieg paced Anthony Wayne with 10 points as the Generals won an NLL matchup.

Lindsay Ferguson led Napoleon with 10 points.

Gibsonburg 41, Northwood 25

GIBSONBURG — In this TAAC game the Golden Bears (3-3, 3-0) rallied behind Brittney Holcomb with 11 points and Amanda Shammo with 10.

For the Rangers (1-4, 1-2) Doma Cruz had six.

Danbury 46, Cardinal Stritch 42

Danbury won on the road, with Erin Lavelle scoring 14 points, Tori Wright 12, and Megan Stephens 10.

CeCe Gozdowski paced the Cardinals (1-4) with 15 while Kali Hardy added 10.

Bedford 54, Ypsilanti Lincoln 49

TEMPERANCE — Rachel Lewandowski scored 17 points and Nicole Rightnowar added 16 as Bedford improved to 4-1.

Dominique Foley led Lincoln (1-3) with 31 points.
