In this week’s edition of Behind The Readers’ Forum, The Blade welcomes letter writer Barbara Hannon to discuss her recent letter.
Here is the text of Mrs. Hannon’s letter:
Returning to Toledo after 43 years has been a nice surprise.
When we left, Toledo was going through a time of unrest and fear. Store windows were broken, and fear was pervasive.
My return has been a pleasant experience — seeing new businesses, shopping at the stores, and exchanging greetings and smiles with everyone I meet.
Each week The Blade's editorial board will pick a "letter of the week," and the writer will be asked to come to The Blade to be interviewed for our Behind the Readers' Forum feature, which appears on toledoblade.com and Blade NewsSlide.
