Notes: Michigan faces Michigan State in its first Legends Division game since Oct. 5, a 42-13 win over Minnesota. ...Michigan State leads the country in total defense (215.5 yards) and rushing defense (54.9 yards) and will face a Michigan team whose offense, while fifth in the Big Ten (446.4 yards), has struggled to produce on the ground. UM running back Fitzgerald Toussaint has only two games this season of more than 100 yards of rushing and averages 82.1 yards a game. … The team with the most productive rushing offense has won 40 of the last 43 games. The Spartans have outrushed the Wolverines 938-519 in the last five games. … Michigan is coming off its highest offensive output this season (751 yards) in a 63-47 win two weeks ago against Indiana.
