An audience at the Bedford Branch Library in Temperance watches a performance by the Icho Daiko Japanese taiko drumming ensemble, based in Cleveland. The group is a nationally acclaimed component of the Japanese American Cultural League.

Brothers, from left, Kai, Alex, and Alan Haavisto display some of the techniques they use in playing the drums. The aim of the group is to provide an awareness of this Asian form of music.
