Raising money for repairing the streets is as important as the Toledo Zoo, Metroparks of the Toledo Area, or social service needs. Therefore, I propose a property tax that would raise $75 million dollars over five years. This would give people without income from wages an opportunity to contribute. Where my city taxes go

I pay Toledo taxes. Some items expected in return are good public schools, a reliable potable water supply, and roads in good repair. Apparently my government does not share my priorities. I take exception to your spin that Toledo residents voted against good roads. Instead, my government chose not to spend the taxes on maintaining the roads in good condition.…
