Levis Commons has been transformed into a Winter Wonderland, complete with hundreds of thousands of white twinkling lights illuminating the plaza. Guests can drop off letters to Santa, enjoy horse-drawn carriage rides, and become part of the scenery of a snow globe. Activities are planned from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, and on Saturday, Santa will visit and have breakfast with guests at Hilton Garden Inn from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Following breakfast, there will be holiday crafts and Christmas karaoke. Tickets are $7 for children and $10 for adults and must be purchased in advance online at shopleviscommons.com. Additional festivities are planned from 3 to 7 p.m. daily, starting Saturday and through Dec. 23. For more information visit shopleviscommons.com.

The Toledo-Lucas County Library kicked off its annual Holiday Concert Series this week, sharing holiday music and merriment. The concerts will continue today, with Masterworks Chorale, followed by the Sylvania Northview High School Jazz Band Friday. Performances will take place from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in the Wintergarden at the Main Library. Admission is free. Concerts will be Wednesday through Friday until Dec. 20.
