Downtown Perrysburg Inc.'s first Family Outdoor Movie Night of the year began once it got dark enough with families sitting on blankets and lawn chairs in the street watching the animated Dr. Seuss movie on the side of the building facing Second Street.

Before the movie, entertainer Craig Wise did a juggling, unicycle, and balancing show from around 8 to 9 p.m. before the featured presentation started.
There was free popcorn, cotton candy, water, and juice provided by Downtown Perrysburg Inc.
"This is an absolutely fun event. In the past we've gotten 300 people here," said Rick Thielen, Downtown Perrysburg director.
The Lorax movie came out in 2012 and was based off the Dr. Seuss book with the same title. Zac Efron, Danny DeVito, Taylor Swift, and Ed Helms star in the film.
The next Family Outdoor Movie Night is Aug. 18 with Dolphin Tale.
