Sharon Burnat, of West Toledo, picked up a piece of corn to mark her bingo board Saturday night during this year's Feather Party at the Perrysburg Township Fire Department.
My mariner husband just came back from four months at sea. The first day is for sea stories and sleep. The second day is for playing with the baby and a dinner-and-movie date night for the grownups. The third day is for partying and spending that fat envelope of cash.
What better place to do that than the Perrysburg Township Fire and EMS Department's Feather Party?
Raffles, Bingo, silent auctions, and games of chance were great places to plunk down a couple bucks Saturday night at the Public Safety Building. Proceeds support the department's training and equipment needs and the charity efforts of the International Association of Fire Fighters Local 4170 union.
