Mary Rava Miller

Perrysburg High School graduate Mary Rava Miller has been appointed by the Toledo-Lucas County Public Library to Children’s Library manager at the main library in downtown Toledo.
Ms. Miller is an experienced children’s librarian with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Bowling Green State University and a master’s degree in Library and Information Science from Kent State University. Prior to joining the system, she had been a school librarian, a substitute teacher, and a preschool teacher. She also worked as a librarian for Clermont County Public Library in Batavia, Ohio, near Cincinnati.
The Maumee resident began her career at the Toledo-Lucas County Public Library in 2000 as a generalist librarian at the Kent Branch. In 2005, she became a children’s librarian at the Waterville Branch, and in 2009 she joined the Children’s Library staff as a librarian.
