Perrysburg woman says she has a bomb at Kazmaier's

She was arrested at Perrysburg grocery store; no bomb found

Cathy Rapp, 64, of Perrysburg was arrested at Kazmaier's after saying she had a gun and bomb and that she would use the weapons if someone got close Monday evening.

According to the Perrysburg police report, Ms. Rapp was quickly taken into custody by the Perrysburg police and was found to have no weapons. She was charged with inducing panic, a fourth-degree felony, and was being held in the Wood County jail with a bond of $25,000. 

"I wasn't here, but it was no big deal, apparently a woman came in and said she had a gun on her but no one saw it," said Allen Kazmaier II, owner of Kazmaier's. "We called 911 and they were here right away and got her."

He said no one was hurt in the incident.

Kazmaier's is a grocery store is located at 127 E. Second St.
