Sundown Cantina, 5680 Mayberry, Sylvania, inspected Sept. 19. Time/temperature control for safety foods above 41 degrees in the large prep-top cooler. Food must be held at 41 degrees or lower to prevent bacteria growth. Discard the pan of chicken that had a temperature of 46 degrees. Remove the home-type smoker from the establishment. The facility does not have space for a commercial smoker. Major menu changes need to be approved by this department. Inspector: Jennifer Gottschalk.

J & G Pizza Palace, 5692 N. Main, Sylvania, inspected Sept. 18. Sliced cheese at 49 degrees in the prep-top cooler. Each food item must have its own container and must have its own spot to remain at or below 41 degrees. Four stacks of cheese discarded. Inspector: Gottschalk.
